How We Got Started

AVC (AmeriSports Volleyball Club) was built from the ground up right here in the Rockwall TX community with a simple but powerful vision — to create a place where athletes could develop at a high level while still being known, supported, and valued as individuals.

What started as a local program has grown into a competitive club serving families across the DFW area and beyond, but our foundation has never changed. We remain rooted in community, family, and faith — values that guide how we coach, how we lead, and how we invest in every athlete who comes through our doors.

From day one, AVC has been about more than volleyball. It’s about building character, creating opportunity, and developing young athletes in an environment where they are challenged, encouraged, and cared for. We are proud of how far we’ve come, but even more committed to where we’re going — continuing to grow the game while staying grounded in what matters most.

We have had such an incredible experience with AVC. From day one, the coaching staff has treated our daughter like more than just another player — they truly invest in her development both as an athlete and as a person.

We’ve seen huge growth in her skills, confidence, and understanding of the game, but what stands out most is the culture. The environment is positive, competitive, and supportive all at the same time. She feels challenged in the best way and genuinely loves showing up to practice and tournaments.

As parents, we appreciate the communication, structure, and the way the program balances development with competition. It’s clear the coaches care deeply about the athletes and are building something special here.
