EVALUATION CLINICS
Evaluation clinics are required for placement in AVC and AVC-A programs.
Spots are limited and placement is based on evaluation.
All evaluation clinics are non-refundable.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Our evaluation process is designed to be clear, consistent, and athlete-focused.
Attend an AmeriSports evaluation clinic
Train and compete in front of our coaching staff
Receive placement consideration for AVC or AVC-A
Begin receiving communication regarding next steps starting May 18th
Returning athletes are encouraged to attend clinics and stay in communication with their age-group coaches.
PROGRAM PLACEMENT:
AVC is designed for athletes ready for a higher level of competitive club volleyball with structured team systems and advanced training expectations. AVC-A is designed for athletes transitioning from rec volleyball, focusing on skill development, confidence, and preparation for club-level play.
AFTER ACCEPTANCE DAY:

Evaluations Protocols
At AVC, our Evaluations process is designed to give every athlete a fair and thorough evaluation. We strongly encourage players to attend all scheduled pre-tryout, tryouts & evaluation sessions to ensure coaches have the opportunity to fully assess skill level, athleticism, and team fit.
Our goal is to build competitive, well-balanced teams while creating the best possible development experience for every athlete.
Athletes:
Athletes are expected to demonstrate a positive attitude, strong effort, coachability, and respect for coaches and fellow players throughout the evaluation process. We value not only skill, but also character, communication, and a team-first mindset.
Parents:
We ask that parents help us create a focused and positive environment during evaluations. Please allow coaches to evaluate without interruption, refrain from coaching from the sidelines, and support all athletes with encouragement and respect. Clear communication will be provided throughout the process, and we’re happy to answer any questions at the appropriate times.
Please Note:
Any behavior that goes against AmeriSports policies—by athletes or parents—will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the evaluation environment.
